Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Welcome to U&M.C Designs! This small business was founded by a young couple passionate about using their creativity to serve others. With encouragement from friends and family who have benefitted from their creativity, U&M.C Designs was birthed. Witnessing each other evolve over the years, two things have remained constant - their love for each other and keeping busy making things! U&M.C Designs is a creative outlet for this couple. One spouse is always experimenting with materials, building or modifying something. The other spouse is an organizer, and has an eye for details. Together they make the perfect team!
Together they seek to find inspiration in every turn.
Exhibit A:
A graduate student recently completed her PhD with a focus in cancer neuroscience. Her labmates desired to gift her something that represented her years of toiling and her enthusiasm about neuroscience. We took these facts into consideration and created a clock/ wall piece that embodied her journey to PhD. What do you think about her "neuron clock"?
A neuron is the basic unit of the nervous system.
Exhibit B:
Mom is superhuman, managing everyone's schedules and catering to everyone's individual needs. She keeps everyone in check and still manages to find time to pour into the community around her. For mom, self-care is pivotal and she knows just when its time to put her feet up. Dad is the epitome of a dedicated father and throws down in the kitchen. All the children are icing to the cake with their unique personalities. We aimed to create a piece to represent this beautiful family. What do you think?
